How Pet Points are earned, redeemed, reversed and expired.

PETCAKE Rewards is a free account-based loyalty program. Create a WooCommerce member account with an email address and password, or sign in before checkout, so eligible orders can be linked automatically.
One customer must not create or control multiple accounts to repeat a bonus or avoid a program limit. Guest orders do not earn points and are not linked retrospectively unless PETCAKE agrees after verification.
2. Earning points
Members earn 1 Pet Point for each full A$1 of eligible product spend after discounts. Delivery, taxes shown separately, gift cards, cancelled items and refunded products do not earn points. Fractions of a dollar are rounded down.
Purchase points are issued only when an order reaches the configured paid status. Failed, unpaid, cancelled or abandoned checkouts do not earn points. Points may remain pending while payment or an adjustment is verified.
3. Welcome and birthday bonuses
A new member receives 50 welcome points once. Saving a valid primary-pet birthday makes the account eligible for 100 birthday points once during that pet’s birthday month in each calendar year.
Editing a pet name, date or account does not create another bonus for the same year. PETCAKE may verify or reverse duplicate, mistaken or abused bonuses.
4. Redeeming points
100 Pet Points provides an A$5 reward. Redemption starts at 100 points and cannot reduce more than 20% of the eligible product subtotal. Points do not reduce delivery and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
The website checks the available balance and order limit at checkout. Other promotion codes may be unavailable when a Pet Points reward is applied.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Points are confirmed as used only when checkout succeeds. A failed or cancelled payment releases any temporary reservation.
For a full refund, points earned from the refunded products are reversed and points redeemed on the order are returned. Partial refunds are adjusted against the corresponding eligible spend. A balance may temporarily become negative if earned points were already spent.
6. Expiry and history
Pet Points expire 12 months after issue. Oldest available points are used first. Expired points cannot be redeemed or transferred.
The member account displays the current balance and available activity where supported. Contact PETCAKE promptly if an entry appears wrong so payment, order and points records can be checked.
7. Corrections and program changes
PETCAKE may correct points issued or used because of a technical error, duplicate event, refund, misuse or incorrect order information. Accounts may be restricted where there is reasonable evidence of fraud or deliberate manipulation, subject to law.
PETCAKE may change or end the program with reasonable notice where practical. A change does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
